ABOUT JULIE:
Julie K. Staples, Ph.D. (Guru Parkash Kaur) is the Research Director at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine and a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher. She has conducted research in mind-body medicine for traumatized populations worldwide for over 20 years. She is a faculty member of the International Kundalini Yoga Therapy Professional Training program. She is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Georgetown University and the author of the yoga chapter in the medical school textbook Fundamentals of Complementary and Alternative Medicine. Her self-help book Reclaiming Life after Trauma teaches Kundalini Yoga and cognitive behavioral therapy tools to heal trauma symptoms. She currently runs Integrative Trauma Recovery Program intensive retreats and teaches online courses for yoga teachers, yoga therapists, and health professionals on the science of yoga.

Madhur-Nain Webster is deeply committed to helping others expand their potential. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, she often encourages the use of yogic technology — including mindful meditation — to support clients as they bring polarized thoughts into harmony.

The integration of eastern and western therapeutic methods inspired her to release her first book, The Stressless Brain (2018), along with several meditation music albums focused on breath-work and chanting. In addition to running a successful private practice out of Napa, California, she regularly holds yoga teacher training courses worldwide and is currently writing her second book.

ABOUT RACHEL SURINDERJOT:
Rachel Surinderjot Kaur has been on a lifelong journey of healing and service. She got sober in 2008, became a Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2011, a psychotherapist in 2017, and has since worked with many people struggling with depression, anxiety, and addiction. She has developed tools, practices, and inner resources to heal her own mental health challenges, and she is called to share those practices with others. She developed a workbook and program called Embodying the 12 Steps: Kundalini Yoga for Recovery (KY12).
