In this class, you will learn one of the kriyas and a meditation in the Kundalini Yoga protocol for people dealing with trauma symptoms. The series of Kundalini Yoga kriyas and meditations for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) have been shown to be effective in two research studies.
Depression can feel like a lack of hope, a sense of helplessness, and a feeling that our efforts don't result in change. When the 5th chakra is activated, we feel inspired, creative, and that our words have power. We'll use movement, writing, and chanting to heal and awaken the 5th chakra. Several suggestions will be offered that have helped many people listen to depression to find a path towards hope and creative inspiration.
